young, old friends
They admitted to being in their 37th married year! Once upon a time both John & Ellen Nicodemus were Duke students - she a nursing major, he a math major and played Duke baseball). Soon thereafter and while participants at Blacknall they gave themselves on behalf of the church's youth ministry. And they are still giving people.
I was delighted to host them with bed and breakfast last weekend, including a whole morning together on Monday! John is doing very well, given that Parkinson's is now a daily companion.
