Final Glimpse

I now have earnest money in hand from "Alston", who drove from Winston-Salem yesterday to look at the Vanagon.  He was the first/only to respond from day one of a posting on Craiglist.  From that we should not be surprised that he would be interested.  Exchange of keys and cash scheduled the middle of this week.

Thanks so much, Pete, for sacrificing time to help clean the Vanagon last weekend when I felt so rotten!  Jenny too pitched in!  The vehicle served us so well - thank you, Lord - for 21 years!

You ask: what will you do Dad when you need to move stuff?  I have a proposal to borrow/rent Pete's Suburban in that regard as need may arise.  It is running well; witness our driving it to/from La Plata recently.

WOW!!! Big news from 1406!! This isn't an early April Fool's post, is it?

Sad day... but oh boy an exciting one. Hopefully you can find some good wheels to replace it soon! Have anything in particular in mind?
