Brief Getaway

The schedule (Craig off two consecutive days & I excused myself from a team meeting) plus the generosity of a couple at Blacknall allowed us two to get away for two nights and days.  We accepted to stay at their vacation house on Lake Mayo near Roxboro.  No tv, no dvd, no internet - what to do?

One might say, Why do anything?  Just be still.  That's hard, especially with a book each to finish reading, mildly warm lake water inviting daily swims, and a kyak begging to be used for several exploratory runs around a quiet body of water.
