Something about Spring

I know that many remark about the beauty of the season.  We are no different in our appreciation of the marvelous signs of God's handiwork waking up after a wintry snooze.  When you think about it, isn't it incredible how these slender, almost weightless, shoots of leaves and flowers-to-be, push themselves through a load of earth, manure, ground-cover - sometimes even concrete! - as they reach for the warming sunlight of Spring!  Though I didn't capture it on camera, there is a daffodil under the new deck that is contorting itself in order to grow through the only spot available: a small circle of light surrounding the Dogwood tree.  What wonders!
